Lion kept me enthralled to the last page - I couldn't put it down. It's the perfect summer read full of intrigue, action and sexy characters, with a plot that keeps twisting and turning. I can't wait for the next one!
Love this book! A really good read that I just couldn't put it down. It's got an engaging plot with lots of mystery and plenty of spice. And so refreshing to find women characters who are sexy and strong. I can't wait to read the next book!
Lion weaves an interesting tale and leaves you wanting to read more. The story unfolds in an atmospheric location which is believable yet magical and the suspense builds wonderfully throughout the book. I recommend this as a great holiday read, just enough spice to make you blush but a substantial plot to support.
This book is sooooo much fun! It's got adventure, a bit of magic, a smattering of erotica and a really gripping story-line! Read it for a bit of escapism! Much better written than much of this genre - a great first book for this author - I can't wait for more of this "thrillogy"!

Well, Lion was not what I expected…I went in expecting a typical shifter romance. Far from it. Adam is thrust into a world far from his life on the farm. He has a lot to learn—about college, women, and even himself.
B.B. Sorores has created a unique world full of secrets, mystery, and a little heat. Lion has more twists than a pretzel. Just when you think you have things figured out, another twist pops up and throws you for a loop. The book started a little slow for me, but it did pick up the pace.

It's a beautiful place with beautiful people, and he is so excited to be getting away from his roots and his past. Despite his extreme desire to do well, nothing ever goes Adam's way, the beautiful people know he's not one of them. He despairs of ever being accepted and, at the same time, is hiding a deep, dark secret. With his strange roommate, Jack, and the girl he starts to desire, Lia, Adam tries to put the secret parts of his past behind him, but everything seems to stand in his way. He tries to stay in control, but until he meets his professor, Castalia Vallas, it's definitely becoming beyond his reach. Castalia gives Adam everything he needs and desires, but at what price? This well-written story is a tale filled with intriguing mystery, world building and strong secondary characters. All the way through, you're trying to figure out just what is going on. Never fear, clarity will eventually come and understanding reached. Follow Adam's life as he tries to fit in and find the acceptance he yearns for, the journey will make you cringe in sympathy along the way and take many an unexpected detour. How Adam fits in with the machinations taking place within the City, and the evil behind them, will keep you reading to find out what happens next.
